The academy systems of Premier League clubs represent some of the most sophisticated youth development programmes in world sport. We were given exclusive access to one such academy to understand how the stars of tomorrow are nurtured.

From the youngest age groups through to the under-23s, every aspect of a player's development is carefully managed. Technical coaching, physical conditioning, nutritional guidance, and psychological support all form part of a holistic approach to player development.
